that was Lee Majors "comeback" after the Six Million Dollar man, was
possible one of my all time favorite shows.
I have been watching it a lot on Hulu now, and really it is all about
Season 1. Lots of chase scenes, plenty of cheesy plots, and wink-wink
moments, with an obligatory half naked Heather Thomas thrown in almost
every episode. There is just something about a down on his luck
Stuntman trying to make money by catching bail jumpers. Besides
Heather, Lee's other sidekick is a goofy, super prep played by Douglas
Barr. Not the best actor out there, but he handles his part well in the
show. And if you want some perfect style cues, his preppy get ups
would make hipsters cry these days. They are that good.
Not only was TV better in the 80's but the toy spin-offs from TV shows
were better too.
Here are the facts for season one...
Colt Seavers - Lee Majors
Howie Munson - Douglas Barr
Jody Banks - Heather Thomas
Samantha 'Big' Jack - Joann Pflug
